The Maxxis Metroloads Pro tire is designed specifically for commuters and cargo bikes. It measures 20×2.4 inches and features a dual-ply casing with a thicker tread for longer tread life. This model includes MaxxProtect (MXPR), a 3mm poly-fiber breaker layer positioned between the tread and casing to enhance puncture resistance. The tire uses the HM4S compound, formulated for all-season use with additional fillers to extend tread life throughout the year. It has reflective sidewalls for added visibility and is rated E50, meaning it is approved for electric bikes traveling up to 50 km/h (31 mph) and meets the EU ECE-R75 standard.
