The Maxxis Metropass AT MPro 29×2.0 is a lightweight, easy-rolling tubeless tire designed for modern E-SUV bikes, suitable for both on-road and off-road use. Its mid-height, knobby tread with a rounded profile provides good rolling efficiency on asphalt while offering reliable grip on hardpack and dirt trails.
The tire features a 60 TPI casing made from 100% recycled nylon through SEAWASTEXA , reducing the CO2 footprint by 49% compared to new nylon. It uses Maxxis’s 4Season rubber compound for consistent performance across all weather conditions.
Additional features include EXO sidewall protection to help prevent punctures from abrasions, MaxxProtect (a 3mm poly-fiber breaker layer) for enhanced puncture resistance, and an E50 rating that supports E-Bikes up to 50 kph (31 mph) in compliance with the EU ECE-R75 standard. The tire comes with reflective sidewalls and fits ISO 622 rims.
