The Maxxis Metropass AT MPro is a 29×2.6 tubeless tire designed for modern E-SUV bikes, suitable for both on-road and off-road use. It features a mid-height, knobby tread with a rounded profile that rolls smoothly on asphalt and provides good grip on hardpack and dirt trails. The casing has a 60 TPI construction made from 100% recycled nylon through SEAWASTEXA , reducing its CO2 footprint by 49% compared to new nylon.
This tire uses Maxxis’ 4Season rubber compound for reliable performance in all weather conditions. It also includes EXO sidewall protection to help prevent punctures from abrasions, and MaxxProtect (MXPR), a 3mm poly-fiber breaker layer under the tread that enhances puncture resistance. The tire is rated E50, meaning it is approved for use with E-Bikes up to 50 kph (31 mph) according to the EU ECE-R75 standard. Additional features include a reflective sidewall for increased visibility.
