Description
The Maxxis Minion DHR II Tire is a 27.5 x 2.5 tubeless-ready clincher designed for downhill and mountain biking, especially suited for trail, enduro, and downhill use as a rear tire. It features a 60 TPI, two-layer casing with flat protection on the tread and sidewall, built for extreme gravity applications.
The tire’s design includes widened side knobs borrowed from the Minion DHF to enhance cornering support. Its center tread has ramped leading edges for improved acceleration and sipes to ensure smooth transitions when leaning. Paddle-shaped center knobs provide strong traction during hard braking and help maintain control. The tire uses the BikePark compound for a balanced combination of grip and rolling efficiency.
This tire comes with a wire bead, is black in color, and measures 27.5 inches in diameter with a width of 2.5 inches (ISO 584 x 61 mm). It is recommended to pair this rear tire with a Minion DHF up front for aggressive trail riding.
