Description
This bundle includes two Maxxis Minion DHR2 mountain tires, each sized 27.5″ x 2.40″. These folding, tubeless-ready tires feature the 3C MaxxGrip compound, designed for maximum traction on the trail. The tires have a 120×2 TPI casing with the new DH casing for enhanced puncture protection, durability, and improved compliance over rough terrain.
The tread design combines widened side knobs derived from the Minion DHF for superior cornering support with ramped leading edges and sipes on the center tread to improve acceleration and smooth leaning transitions. Paddle-shaped center knobs provide strong grip during hard braking to help maintain control.
These tires are suitable for downhill, trail, and enduro mountain biking and are recommended for rear installation. They are designed to work well under high cornering loads and impacts, allowing for lower air pressures for a more planted and damped ride feel. The tires are also e-bike compatible (E25 rating).
Each tire weighs approximately 1352 grams and has a black color. The ISO width is 61 mm, and the folding bead design makes them easy to mount and pack.
