The Maxxis Minion DHR2 is a 27.5″ x 2.40 mountain bike tire designed for aggressive trail, enduro, and downhill riding. It features side knobs inspired by the Minion DHF, widened for added support and excellent cornering traction. The center tread includes ramped leading edges to improve acceleration, as well as paddle-shaped knobs that dig in during hard braking for better control.
This tire uses the MaxxTerra triple compound, offering increased durability while maintaining grip and tread wear. The EXO casing protects the sidewalls against cuts and abrasions without sacrificing flexibility or adding significant weight. The folding bead design and tubeless-ready construction ensure easy installation and compatibility. With a 60 TPI casing, it weighs 991 grams and is suitable for tires ranging from 2.30″ to 2.60″ wide.
