The Maxxis Minion DHR2 mountain tire, sized 27.5″x2.40, is designed for aggressive trail riding and rear installation. Featuring side knobs adapted from the Minion DHF but widened for better support, it offers exceptional cornering performance. The center tread has ramped leading edges for improved acceleration and sipes that create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-shaped center knobs enhance grip during hard braking and help maintain control.
This tire uses the MaxxTerra triple compound for increased durability without sacrificing grip, tread wear, or rolling resistance. It includes EXO+ casing for medium-duty puncture protection, suitable for all-around trail use and lightweight e-bikes. The tire is tubeless ready with a folding bead and is black in color. With 60 TPI and flat protection on both tread and sidewall, it supports reliable performance in trail, enduro, and downhill conditions. The tire weighs 1055 grams and fits 27.5-inch wheels with a 2.4-inch width.
