Description
The Maxxis Minion DHR2 is a 27.5″ x 2.50 mountain bike tire designed for aggressive trail, enduro, and downhill riding. It features a folding bead and is tubeless ready. The tire uses MaxxTerra, a triple compound formulation that enhances durability while maintaining grip, tread wear, and rolling resistance. Its Double Down (DD) casing combines two layers of 120 TPI material with a butyl sidewall insert for durability and improved trail feedback.
The tread design includes widened side knobs inspired by the Minion DHF for exceptional cornering support. The center tread has ramped leading edges and sipes for smoother leaning and better acceleration. Paddle-shaped knobs provide strong braking traction and control. This tire is recommended for rear installation and is compatible with E25 e-bikes.
