Description
The Maxxis Minion DHR2 is a 27.5″ x 2.60 mountain tire designed for aggressive trail riding, enduro, and downhill use, intended primarily for rear installation. It features side knobs inspired by the legendary Minion DHF, widened for added support and excellent cornering traction. The center tread includes ramped leading edges to enhance acceleration and sipes for smooth leaning transitions. Paddle-shaped center knobs grip firmly under hard braking to maintain control.
This tire uses MaxxTerra, a triple compound that balances durability with grip while preserving tread wear and rolling resistance qualities. The EXO+ casing provides medium-duty puncture protection suitable for all-around trail riding and lightweight e-bikes. The folding bead design and 60 TPI casing contribute to a lightweight construction at 1180 grams. The tire is tubeless ready for improved performance and ease of setup.
With an ISO diameter of 584 mm (27.5″) and width of 66 mm (2.60″), the Minion DHR2 works well paired with a Minion DHF up front for a complete aggressive trail riding setup. Available in black, it is compatible with E25 e-bikes and designed for tubeless clincher systems.
