Description
The Maxxis Minion DHR2 is a 27.5″x2.80 folding mountain tire designed for trail, enduro, and downhill riding. It features widened side knobs inspired by the Minion DHF for enhanced cornering support. The center tread has ramped leading edges and sipes to improve acceleration and provide smooth transitions when leaning the bike, while paddle-like center knobs increase traction under hard braking.
This tire uses MaxxTerra, a triple compound that balances durability, grip, tread wear, and rolling resistance. It includes EXO+ protection, offering medium-duty puncture resistance suitable for all-around trail use and light e-bikes. The tire has a 60 TPI casing and is tubeless ready with a folding bead design. It is black in color and recommended for rear installation. Maximum pressure is 35 PSI.
