Description
The Maxxis Minion DHR2 is a 29″ x 2.40 folding mountain tire designed for aggressive trail, enduro, and downhill riding. It features a new DH casing that offers increased puncture protection and improved compliance over rough terrain, providing better support during high cornering loads and impacts. The tire uses Maxxis’ 3C Maxx Grip compound, known for its sticky, slow-rebounding rubber that delivers strong traction.
The tread design includes widened side knobs based on the Minion DHF, enhancing cornering support. The center tread has ramped leading edges and paddle-shaped knobs for better acceleration, braking control, and smooth transitions when leaning the bike. Signature channel cut side knobs offer excellent cornering grip. This tire is tubeless ready, has a 120×2 TPI casing, and weighs 1441 grams. It is suitable for rear installation and is designed to accommodate eBikes (E25). The tire color is black.
