Description
The Maxxis Minion DHR2 is a 29″ x 2.40 mountain bike tire designed for trail, enduro, and downhill riding. It features side knobs inspired by the Minion DHF, widened for added support and improved cornering. The center tread has ramped leading edges for better acceleration and sipes that provide a smooth transition when leaning. Paddle-shaped knobs on the center tread enhance braking control.
This tire uses MaxxTerra, a triple compound that balances durability, grip, tread wear, and rolling resistance. The EXO+ casing offers medium-duty puncture protection across the tread and sidewall, making it suitable for all-around trail riding and lightweight e-bikes (E25).
The tire is tubeless ready with a folding bead, has a 60 TPI casing, and is black in color. It has a width of 2.40 inches and an ISO diameter of 622 mm (29″).
