Description
The Maxxis Minion DHR2 is a 29″x2.40 folding mountain bike tire designed for rear installation on trail, enduro, and downhill bikes. It features side knobs inspired by the Minion DHF, widened for greater support and improved cornering. The center tread has ramped leading edges and sipes for smoother transitions when leaning, while paddle-shaped knobs provide strong grip during hard braking.
This tire uses the MaxxTerra triple compound for enhanced durability and consistent traction, balancing tread wear and rolling resistance. The EXO casing adds lightweight, flexible protection against cuts and abrasions on the sidewalls. The tire is tubeless ready, compatible with clincher rims, and suitable for use with E25 e-bikes.
Specifications include a 60 TPI casing, 1067g weight, folding bead, and black color. The tire width fits within the 2.30 to 2.60 range and is designed to perform well in various trail conditions.
