Description
The Maxxis Minion DHR2 is a 29″ x 2.50 mountain bike tire designed for trail, enduro, and downhill riding. Featuring a folding bead and tubeless-ready design, it offers reliable performance on various terrains. The tire uses the 3C Maxx Grip compound, which provides excellent traction through a sticky, slow-rebounding rubber. Its tread combines widened side knobs-borrowed from the Minion DHF-for superior cornering support, with ramped, paddle-shaped center knobs that improve acceleration and braking control. The new DH casing enhances puncture protection and durability while allowing lower air pressures for better compliance and a more planted feel. With a 120×2 TPI casing and flat protection on both tread and sidewalls, this tire is built to handle demanding mountain bike conditions, including e-bike use (E25). The Minion DHR2 is black in color and weighs 1443 grams.
