Description
The Maxxis Minion DHR2 is a 29″x2.50 mountain tire designed for trail, enduro, and downhill riding. It features side knobs similar to the Minion DHF but widened for better support and cornering. The center tread has ramped leading edges and sipes for smoother transitions when leaning, while paddle-shaped knobs provide strong traction under hard braking.
This folding tire is tubeless ready and uses the MaxxTerra triple compound for increased durability without sacrificing grip or rolling efficiency. The DoubleDown casing combines two layers of 120 TPI material with a butyl sidewall insert, offering durable protection and improved trail feedback. It is suitable for e-bike use (E25).
Black in color, the Minion DHR2 has a 29-inch diameter, 2.50-inch width, and weighs 1297 grams. It provides flat protection on both tread and sidewall, and its folding bead makes it easy to install and carry. This tire pairs well with a Minion DHF front tire for an aggressive trail setup.
