The updated DH casing provides enhanced puncture protection and durability, while improving compliance over rough terrain for better support during high cornering loads and impacts. This casing allows for lower air pressures, resulting in a more planted and damped ride feel.
The tires have increased side knob support with low-depth sipes to conform to surface conditions, resulting in intuitive handling with smooth transitions from center to side knobs. They offer front and rear versatility, with rolling speed and braking power comparable to the DHR II but with enhanced stability and cornering control.
