Description
This bundle includes two Maxxis Re-Fuse Gen 2 tires, sized 700 x 40, designed for tubeless setups. These folding tires are black with dual compound construction and feature MaxxShield protection.
The Gen 2 Re-Fuse tires offer a revised tread pattern with a slick center and micro knobs for improved cornering control. They use a full-silica, all-season rubber compound for durability and performance in various conditions. The MaxxShield flat protection combines SilkShield bead-to-bead defense with an added K2 Aramid Composite layer beneath the tread to enhance durability and reduce punctures. Flat protection covers both the tread and sidewall.
Each tire weighs 555 grams and has a 60 TPI casing. They are intended for road and gravel use, with a folding bead and a tubeless-ready design. The labeled size is 700 x 40 (ISO 622 diameter, 40 mm width), supporting a maximum pressure of 75 PSI. These tires do not have reflective sidewalls.
