This bundle includes two Maxxis Reaver Gravel Tires, size 700x50C, in black. These folding, tubeless-ready tires feature the HYPR-X compound, combining two Maxxis compounds to deliver 25% lower rolling resistance and improved cornering traction. The EXO casing protects the sidewalls, offering resistance to cuts and abrasion while maintaining a lightweight and flexible design.
The Reaver tire is designed for gravel racing with a low-profile tread featuring diamond knurling to reduce rolling resistance and enhance grip on dusty or loose surfaces. Paddle knobs grouped in threes provide extra traction during hard braking, while closely spaced, staggered side knobs with sipes improve cornering performance and traction by flexing to conform to terrain.
These tires are recommended for use on pavement, dirt roads, and gravel. Tubeless-ready construction allows for lower air pressures, better traction, reduced rolling resistance compared to tube-type tires, and a decreased chance of flats. Each tire has a 120 TPI casing and weighs approximately 596 grams.
