The Maxxis Reaver Tire is designed for gravel racing, offering a faster, lighter, and more durable option compared to previous models. Its low-profile tread features diamond knurling to reduce rolling resistance while improving grip on dusty or loose surfaces. Sets of three paddle knobs provide extra traction during hard braking, and closely spaced, staggered side knobs enhance cornering stability. Each side knob includes a groove that allows it to flex and better conform to terrain for improved traction.
This tire uses a dual compound rubber that balances low rolling resistance with increased cornering grip. The EXO casing protects the sidewalls against cuts and abrasions while remaining lightweight and flexible. The race-ready tread is suitable for pavement, dirt roads, and gravel.
The Maxxis Reaver is tubeless ready, allowing riders to run lower air pressures for better traction, lower rolling resistance, and reduced risk of flats since it requires no inner tube.
