The MET Crackerjack Youth Helmet in Matte Pink is designed to provide enhanced protection for young cyclists. It features extended coverage at the back of the head and incorporates the MIPS-Evolve rotational management system for added safety during certain impacts. The helmet includes a built-in rear LED light with three spotlights that can run up to 40 hours, improving visibility in low-light conditions. Thirteen vents with internal air channeling and a front anti-insect net help keep the head cool and comfortable.
The MET Safe-T JR fit system with integrated LED light ensures a secure and comfortable fit, while the 360 head belt helps prevent pressure points. Reflective decals and adjustable straps increase visibility and customize the fit. This helmet meets the U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for persons age 5 and older, fitting head sizes from 52 to 57 cm. A visor is included for added protection from the sun.
Developed using construction and technology from MET’s higher-end helmets, the Crackerjack is tested in MET’s lab for consistent quality and safety. It weighs 305 grams and is suitable for youth cyclists.
