The MET Manta Helmet in Black/Red Glossy (Small) is designed to combine aerodynamic performance with safety and comfort. It features the MIPS-C2 system, which provides 10% additional protection by reducing harmful rotational forces during impact. The helmet’s internal shape, NACA Vent, and exhaust vents enhance airflow without increasing drag, ensuring effective ventilation despite its aerodynamic form.
Constructed with an in-mold polycarbonate shell and EPS liner, the helmet meets the U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for bicycle helmets for individuals aged 5 and older. It includes the MET Safe-T Orbital Fit System with a 360 head belt, along with vertical and occipital adjustments, allowing for a secure and customized fit. The Air Lite straps feature an adjustable divider to improve comfort and aerodynamics, while the Fidlock magnetic buckle enables fast, easy fastening.
Additional features include 15 well-placed vents with an internal channeling system for airflow, sunglasses ports to securely hold eyewear when not in use, and a tube-shaped tail for improved aerodynamics. The helmet weighs 285 grams and is suitable for road and triathlon/time trial use. No visor is included.
