Description
The MET Manta MIPS Tri/TT Helmet in Matte/Glossy Black is designed for road and triathlon time trial use. It features an in-mold polycarbonate shell with an EPS liner for impact protection. The helmet includes the MIPS C2 rotational management system, which helps reduce rotational forces during certain impacts by allowing the helmet to slide.
Its aerodynamic shape incorporates 15 vents with an internal air channeling system and a NACA vent combined with exhaust vents to maintain airflow without creating drag. The helmet has a tube-shaped tail to enhance aerodynamics further.
For a comfortable and secure fit, the helmet uses the MET Safe-T Orbital Fit System with 360 head belt adjustment as well as vertical and occipital adjustments. Air Lite straps with an adjustable divider maximize comfort and aerodynamics, while the Fidlock magnetic buckle allows for easy and quick fastening. Sunglasses ports are integrated for secure storage during climbs or rests.
This size small helmet fits head circumferences between 52 and 56 cm. It weighs 285 grams and complies with the U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for persons aged 5 and older. No visor is included.
