The MET Trenta 3K Carbon Helmet in Black Matte, size Large, is designed for road and triathlon racing. It features the 3K Airframe carbon wing structure that creates an uninterrupted internal air channel from front intake to rear exhaust for consistent airflow and improved ventilation. With 24 external vents and optimized internal channeling, it delivers a 16% increase in ventilation tested in MET’s wind tunnel.
The helmet incorporates 3K Carbon Technology with a carbon cage embedded into the liner to enhance shell performance, combined with an in-mold polycarbonate shell and EPS liner. It includes the MIPS AIR rotational management system for added safety while minimizing weight.
Safety is enhanced with a 40% improvement in linear and rotational impact protection over the previous model, earning a 5-star Virginia Tech safety rating. The Trenta 3K Carbon complies with the U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for persons age 5 and older.
Designed for adults with a head circumference between 58 and 61 cm, this helmet offers a secure and comfortable fit with a refined internal shape. The weight is 320 grams. The helmet does not include a visor.
