The MET Trenta 3K Carbon Helmet in Black Matte (Medium) is designed for road and triathlon riders seeking advanced ventilation and protection. It features the 3K Airframe, a carbon wing structure inside the helmet that creates a continuous internal air channel from front to rear, enhancing consistent airflow at all speeds. This design results in a 16% increase in ventilation, supported by thermal-cell testing in MET’s wind tunnel.
The helmet incorporates a 3K Carbon Technology carbon cage embedded into the liner, replacing the traditional EPS internal frame. This construction improves impact performance by 40% over the previous model and earned a 5-star rating from the Virginia Tech safety test. Safety is further enhanced by the MIPS AIR rotational management system, which adds protection while minimizing weight.
With 24 external vents and optimized internal channeling, the helmet delivers effective cooling and comfort.
