The MET Trenta 3K Carbon Helmet in Black Matte (Small) is designed for road and triathlon use. It features a 3K Airframe carbon wing structure that creates a continuous internal air channel from front to rear, improving airflow for better ventilation. The helmet includes 24 external vents with optimized internal channels to enhance cooling and comfort, validated by thermal-cell testing in MET’s proprietary wind tunnel.
Constructed with an in-mold polycarbonate shell and EPS liner, it incorporates 3K Carbon Technology, embedding a carbon cage into the liner for improved shell performance. The MIPS AIR rotational management system adds protection while minimizing weight.
This helmet delivers a 40% improvement in linear and rotational impact performance compared to previous models, earning a 5-star safety rating from Virginia Tech. It complies with the U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for bicycle helmets and supports a head circumference range of 52-56 cm. The Trenta 3K Carbon offers a secure and comfortable fit with a refined internal shape and is lightweight at 260 grams.
