The MET Trenta 3K Carbon Helmet in Hyper Teal (Large) is a highly ventilated road helmet designed for demanding races. It features the 3K Airframe, a carbon wing structure that removes EPS from the internal frame to create a continuous air channel from front to rear, ensuring consistent airflow at all speeds.
The helmet meets the U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets and includes the MIPS AIR rotational management system for enhanced protection with minimal added weight. It offers a 40% improvement in impact performance compared to previous models, earning a 5-star rating from Virginia Tech’s independent safety testing.
With 24 external vents and optimized internal channeling validated in MET’s proprietary wind tunnel, the helmet provides a 16% increase in ventilation. The in-mold polycarbonate shell is combined with a carbon cage embedded into the liner to enhance performance, comfort, and fit.
