The MET Trenta Helmet in Black/Red Gloss (Large) is a high-performance road and triathlon helmet designed to enhance ventilation and reduce rider fatigue. It incorporates the MIPS-C2 rotational management system, which helps protect the brain by allowing the helmet to slide during certain impacts, reducing rotational forces.
The helmet features 19 vents and an internal air channeling system that uses the Venturi effect to push warm air out, ensuring continuous airflow. Its tube-shaped tail is aerodynamically designed to optimize airflow further. The in-mold polycarbonate shell combined with an EPS liner provides durability and impact protection.
For a secure and comfortable fit, the helmet includes the MET Safe-T Orbital Fit System with 360 head belt and adjustable vertical and occipital settings. Air Lite straps with an adjustable divider enhance both comfort and aerodynamics. Sunglass ports allow secure docking of eyewear during climbs or rests.
This helmet complies with the U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for persons age 5 and older. It fits head circumferences from 58 to 61 cm and weighs 330 grams. Note that the helmet does not include a visor.
