Description
This bundle includes two Continental Grand Prix 5000 tires, size 700 x 25. These are black clincher tires with a 330 TPI (threads per inch) casing designed for road use. Each tire features a folding bead and weighs 225 grams.
The Grand Prix 5000 tires offer enhanced performance with increased comfort and puncture protection. They use a Vectran Breaker made from a liquid crystal-polymer yarn that is lightweight, flexible, and highly resistant to cuts, without affecting rolling resistance. The tires also have a laser-etched micro profile called Lazer Grip on the shoulder for improved cornering.
Active Comfort Technology is embedded in the tire construction to absorb vibrations and provide a smoother ride. The tread is made from the Black Chili Compound, combining synthetic and natural rubbers for optimized grip and rolling performance.
Flat protection covers both the tread and sidewall, and the tires are rated for a maximum pressure of 123 PSI. These performance-oriented tires are reliable and suitable for road cycling.
