Description
The Park Tool BBT-135-12 is a steel bottom bracket socket designed for removing and installing threaded bottom brackets with 12-notch tool fittings. Made from precision 4140 steel, it fits bottom brackets with a major diameter of 48-50mm and a minor diameter of 46.3mm, including Praxis Works M30 models commonly used in road and gravel drivetrains.
This tool features an extra-deep body to accommodate wide spindles and low-profile walls that reach recessed lockrings, which standard-depth tools cannot access. It offers three drive options: a 3/8″ drive fitting, a 1″ hex fitting, and 36mm wrench flats, allowing it to handle stuck bottom bracket cups.
The BBT-135-12 also includes integrated threads to accept the Park Tool BBT-RS Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System or GPS-1 Guide Pins (sold separately) for increased stability during use. Please note, it is not rated for use with impact drivers. The tool is black in color and intended for heavy-duty workshop use.
