Description
This bundle includes two professional bike chain tools from Park Tool:
1. MLP-1.2 Master Link Pliers
Designed to quickly and easily remove or install master links (also known as quick links or power links) on derailleur chains. The pliers feature specially sized jaws that fit into master links for 5 to 12-speed chains, including SRAM AXS, Shimano XTR 12-speed, and Campagnolo 13-speed chains. The blue vinyl-coated handles provide comfort and grip during use. Note that these pliers are not compatible with traditional 2- and 3-piece master links typically found on single-speed or 3-speed bicycles.
2. CT-3.3 Chain Tool (Chain Breaker)
A durable, shop-quality tool for removing and installing chain rivets to size or replace bike chains. It works with nearly all single-speed chains (including 1/8″, 3/16″, and half-link) as well as multi-speed chains from 5 to 12 speeds, including SRAM Flattop, SRAM T-Type, and Shimano XTR 12-speed chains. The tool includes a floating locating shelf to accommodate different chain widths and features a comfortable handle, investment cast steel body, and replaceable driving pin. It can install and remove but does not peen Campagnolo 11-, 12-, and 13-speed chain rivets.
Both tools are designed for professional and home mechanics working on modern bicycle drivetrains ranging from single-speed to 13-speed chains.
