The RaceFace Vault J-Bend 424 Rear Hub is designed for riders seeking quick engagement, high stiffness, and long-lasting durability for aggressive trail, enduro, and gravity riding. It features an oversized hub shell that enhances torsional and lateral stiffness. The hub uses proven 6902 sealed cartridge bearings selected for durability and large ball diameter, with wide bearing placement to reduce load and extend lifespan.
A 60-tooth drive ring engages six double tooth pawls, providing 3-degree engagement for near-instant power transfer. Low-drag labyrinth seals protect the hub’s internals, and endcaps can be swapped without tools for easy maintenance.
This rear hub has a 12 x 148mm thru-axle, 6-bolt disc brake compatibility, and a SRAM XD cassette body. It comes in a Kashmoney gold color, has 32 J-bend spoke holes, and is compatible with e-bikes. Skewer is not included.
