Description
The Reserve Wheels Reserve 30 XC SL Wheelset is designed for 29″ modern cross-country bikes and World Cup XC racing. It features carbon rims with a 30mm internal width, supporting wider tires from 2.35″ to 2.5″ for improved cornering and traction on technical terrain. The rims use a special carbon layup and high modulus fiber to reduce weight by 30 grams per rim compared to the 30 XC model, while maintaining strength and ride quality.
The wheelset includes 28 spokes made from Vonoa carbon, which are 30% lighter than traditional steel spokes. These provide a stiff, responsive ride with less spoke wind-up, enhancing acceleration. The hubs are DT Swiss 180, known for lightweight performance and universal support for driver bodies and small parts.
Axle sizes are 15 x 110mm front and 12 x 148mm rear, compatible with SRAM XD and Shimano Micro Spline cassette bodies. The wheels use Center-Lock disc brake compatibility and come tubeless ready with Presta valves. The overall finish is black carbon.
