The Schwalbe Big Betty tire is built with advanced tire technology, suitable as a downhill and enduro all-rounder for dry to damp conditions. It works especially well on the rear wheel when paired with the Magic Mary. The tire features long supported braking edges for maximum braking traction, extremely stable shoulder blocks for excellent cornering grip, and an open, aggressive tread pattern that provides strong grip and self-cleaning ability. It has flat protection on both the tread and sidewall, a folding bead, and uses the Addix Soft compound. The tire includes Super Gravity and Tubeless Easy technology and is designed for e-bikes.
The Schwalbe Magic Mary tire is recognized as a preferred gravity tire among downhill and enduro riders. It offers all-round performance for a wide range of tracks and conditions through its intermediate tread profile combined with premium compounds and construction. The Evolution premium construction ensures high performance with lightweight materials and a high TPI carcass for improved suppleness, rolling efficiency, and grip. Notable features include strong shoulder studs, an aggressive open tread for maximum braking and cornering grip, and V-Grooves on the studs for enhanced bite. Angled knobs in the center improve rolling characteristics. Like the Big Betty, it has flat protection on the tread and sidewall, a folding bead, and uses the Addix Soft compound with Super Gravity casing. This tire is tubeless ready and designed for e-bike use.
Both tires have an ISO diameter of 622 mm (29 inches) and width of approximately 2.4 inches, with a width range of 2.30 to 2.60 inches. The tires are black in color and do not have reflective sidewalls. They are suitable for mountain and downhill riding and compatible with tubeless setups.
