Description
The Schwalbe Albert tire, sized 29 x 2.50, is designed for mountain and downhill riding. It features a Radial carcass that increases the contact patch with the ground, offering more grip, comfort, and control by conforming better to uneven terrain. This construction results in about 30% more contact area compared to conventional tires at the same air pressure and still maintains a 15% larger contact area even with a 50% increase in pressure. The tire’s flexible response improves damping and handling without sacrificing control.
The tread pattern is optimized for the radial carcass, with many lugs that provide maximum grip and durability. Its closed and rounded profile enhances control, especially on hard-packed terrain, while the special knob pattern maintains continuous grip. The tire has flat protection on the tread and sidewall, a thread per inch (TPI) count of 67, and comes in black. It is tubeless ready with a folding bead, weighs 1330 grams, and is designed for e-bikes. The tire measures ISO 63 mm in width and ISO 622 mm in diameter (29″).
