Description
The Schwalbe Albert Tire is a 29 x 2.50-inch tubeless-ready mountain tire designed for all conditions and terrains. Featuring a small pitch knob pattern and a radial carcass, it provides a larger contact area for improved grip and control. The tire is rated E-50, making it suitable for the added weight and forces of e-bikes.
Its radial carcass offers about 30% more contact area than conventional tires at the same air pressure, and even with a 50% increase in pressure, the contact area remains 15% larger. This design allows the tire to deform more selectively and adapt flexibly to uneven surfaces without losing control, resulting in better grip, damping, comfort, and handling.
The tread pattern is optimized for the radial carcass with numerous lugs for maximum grip and durability. The closed, round profile enhances control, and the special knob layout ensures consistent traction, especially on hard-packed terrain.
