Description
This bundle includes two Schwalbe Magic Mary tires, size 27.5 x 2.50, designed for mountain and downhill riding. These tubeless-ready, folding tires feature Schwalbe’s Pro Trail construction, offering a lightweight, durable casing that balances efficient climbing, strong puncture protection, and reliable control on demanding all-mountain terrain.
The radial carcass design increases the contact area with the ground by about 30% compared to conventional tires at the same air pressure, improving grip, damping, control, and comfort. Even at higher pressures, the contact patch remains larger, enhancing performance. The flexible carcass adapts smoothly to uneven surfaces while maintaining control.
The Magic Mary tires use a soft compound that provides strong grip, effective damping, and durability, suitable for aggressive trail, enduro, and e-MTB riding in varied conditions. The tread features strong shoulder studs and an aggressive, open pattern for maximum braking traction and cornering grip, even in muddy terrain. V-Grooves on each stud help them bite into the ground for extra traction, while angled knobs in the center of the tread improve rolling efficiency.
Additional specifications include flat protection on the tread and sidewall, 67 TPI (threads per inch), and a black color. These tires are tubeless-ready clinchers and come with folding beads. They are designed specifically to accommodate e-bikes and feature a 27.5″ (650b) diameter with a 63 mm width. Each tire weighs approximately 1120 grams.
