The Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB Tire is designed for 27.5″ (650b) wheels with a width of 57mm (2.25″). It features a wire bead and is a clincher tire suitable for e-bikes. This tire combines smooth rolling performance on hard surfaces through its central ribs with strong off-road traction from its outer lugs.
Equipped with Schwalbe’s SmartGuard technology, it offers 5 mm of highly elastic protective rubber to resist punctures from glass and debris, providing one of the best flat protections available. Though not completely flat-proof, it is built for maximum durability and requires proper inflation between 30-55 PSI, checked with a pressure gauge.
The tire uses the Addix rubber compound that balances grip, rolling resistance, and durability for reliable performance. It comes with a reflective sidewall for added visibility and has a 67 TPI casing. Weighing 1270 grams, this Performance Line tire is made for everyday touring and hybrid use, and it is certified for fast e-bike compatibility under the ECE-R75 standard.
