This bundle includes two Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB tires, sized 26 x 2.25 inches. These clincher tires are designed with wire beads and feature a black color with reflective sidewalls for added visibility.
The Marathon Plus MTB tires are highly puncture-resistant and suitable for fast e-bikes, certified to the ECE-R75 standard. They offer smooth rolling performance on hard surfaces through central ribs, while the outer lugs provide strong off-road traction. Their SmartGuard protective belt, made from 5 mm of elastic special rubber, delivers excellent defense against punctures from glass and debris. Although not completely flat-proof, these tires provide some of the best protection available.
Constructed with Schwalbe’s Performance Line quality, these tires balance durable construction, reliable everyday use, and value. The Addix rubber compound optimizes grip, rolling resistance, and durability. The tires have a 67 TPI casing and weigh 1260 grams each. Designed for touring and hybrid use, they measure 57 mm wide with a 559 mm (26-inch) diameter.
Proper inflation is recommended using a pressure gauge due to the tire’s specialized construction.
