Description
This bundle includes two Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour tires, sized 700 x 50 (29 x 2.00), designed for touring and hybrid bikes. These clincher tires feature a wire bead and come in black with reflective sidewalls for added visibility.
Built with Schwalbe’s Performance Line, these tires offer durable construction and reliable performance suited for everyday use. The SmartGuard protective belt provides 5 mm of highly elastic special rubber that significantly reduces the risk of punctures from hazards like glass and debris. While no tire can completely prevent flats, these offer one of the highest levels of puncture resistance available.
The tires use the Addix Green rubber compound, which combines fair-trade natural rubber and recycled carbon black to deliver good durability with a lower environmental impact. With a 67 TPI casing, these tires are designed to withstand heavy use and are compatible with e-bikes.
For best results, tire pressure should be checked with a gauge, as the specialized design makes manual pressure checks unreliable. Each tire weighs approximately 1150 grams.
