Description
This bundle includes two Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour tires, sized 700 x 55 / 29 x 2.20 inches. These clincher tires feature wire beads and come in black with reflective sidewalls. The tires belong to Schwalbe’s Performance Line, offering durable construction and reliable performance at good value. They incorporate SmarGuard protection, a 5 mm thick elastic rubber belt that provides high resistance against punctures from common hazards like glass and debris. The rubber compound, Addix Green, combines fair-trade natural rubber and recycled carbon black to reduce environmental impact while maintaining durability and consistent performance.
With a tread-based flat protection and a thread-per-inch (TPI) rating of 67, these tires are designed to withstand heavy use. They are also suitable for e-bike use. For best performance, tire pressure should be measured with a gauge rather than manual checks.
