Description
This bundle includes two Schwalbe Motion Big Apple hybrid tires, each sized 12″ x 2.00. These black clincher tires feature a wire bead and weigh 220 grams each. They use the Black’n’Roll tube compound and have a 67 TPI casing.
The Motion Big Apple is the direct successor to the Big Ben and the previous Big Apple model. It incorporates Schwalbe’s Addix Green rubber compound, which contains 80% renewable and recycled materials, including 100% recycled carbon black from Schwalbe’s tire recycling program and 100% fair-trade natural rubber.
Designed to provide comfort without complex suspension systems, these tires absorb shocks and roll smoothly on asphalt and forest paths thanks to their large volume and low air pressure capability (30-55 PSI). The tread design is versatile and modern, also reflected in the sidewall structure.
These tires include RaceGuard and Reflex technology for added protection and visibility. The tire width fits in the 1.90 to 2.25 range, and the labeled size is 12″ x 2.00 with a diameter of 12 1/2″ (203 mm). These tires are not designed for e-bikes.
