This tire features a Standard construction casing for reliable, long-lasting everyday use, balancing comfort, rolling efficiency, and puncture protection suitable for commuting, touring, recreational riding, and e-bikes. The Super Defense casing includes a durable, 6-layer double carcass that provides excellent puncture resistance, stability under heavy loads, and safe cornering.
The tire uses Schwalbe’s Addix compound, which balances grip, rolling resistance, and durability to deliver consistent performance. It carries an E-50 rating for e-bike compatibility. The tread pattern includes large interlocking center blocks for a wide contact area and smaller side blocks for enhanced grip when cornering, especially on wet or uneven surfaces.
Made with recycled carbon black from Schwalbe’s tire recycling process, the tire is a clincher type with a wire bead. It measures 24 x 2.60 inches (ISO 65 mm width, 507 mm diameter) and weighs 1230 grams. The color is black with reflective sidewalls for added visibility.
