Description
This bundle includes two Schwalbe Motion Spike tires, size 700 x 42. These clincher tires feature wire beads and a black/reflex color with reflective sidewalls. Designed for touring and hybrid use, they are suitable for riding in moderate winter conditions.
Each tire has up to 120 steel studs with a grooved profile to enhance grip, especially when cornering or braking on icy or snow-covered roads. The tread pattern promotes good self-cleaning in snowy slush, helping maintain traction on wet or snowy surfaces. Made with a specially developed winter compound, the tires remain flexible in cold temperatures for reliable control.
The tires have a Standard (non-PRO) casing that balances comfort, rolling efficiency, and puncture protection. They include K-Guard, an entry-level puncture protection layer made of natural rubber reinforced with Kevlar fibers to shield against flats from road debris.
These tires are E-50 rated and designed for e-bike use. They weigh approximately 905 grams each and have a 50 TPI construction. The tire size corresponds to ISO 42 mm width and 622 mm diameter (700c/29″).
