Description
The Schwalbe Motion Super Moto-X is a 20 x 2.80-inch clincher tire designed for e-bikes and a variety of other bicycles. Its high-volume balloon design offers comfort and safety on roads and light terrain. The tread features clear lines and a mostly solid pattern for smooth rolling, with tread block depth and a textured outer surface to provide reliable traction on roads, bike paths, and paved forest trails.
This tire uses a standard non-PRO casing, balancing comfort, rolling efficiency, and puncture protection for everyday riding, including commuting, touring, recreational use, and e-bike applications. RaceGuard technology adds double-layered nylon fabric beneath the tread for lightweight yet effective puncture protection. Double Defense further enhances durability with two layers of reinforcement under the tread and on the sidewalls, helping to prevent flats and cuts.
The Addix Green compound incorporates fair-trade natural rubber and recycled carbon black from Schwalbe’s tire recycling process, offering good durability with a reduced environmental impact. The tire carries an E-50 rating and is built for agility and performance on asphalt, cobbles, and light terrain. It features a wire bead and weighs 710 grams. Reflective sidewalls increase visibility. The tire has a tread with 67 TPI and an ISO width of 70 mm.
