The Schwalbe Motion Super Moto-X tire is a high-volume balloon tire designed for a variety of bikes, including cargo and e-bikes. Its wide 700 x 50 size offers comfort and safety on roads and light off-road terrain. The tread features a mostly solid design with textured outer surfaces and moderate depth between tread blocks, providing reliable traction on roads, bike paths, and paved forest trails.
This tire uses a standard, non-PRO casing that balances comfort, rolling efficiency, and durable puncture protection, making it suitable for commuting, touring, recreational riding, and e-bike use. It includes GreenGuard, a 3 mm layer of elastic special rubber partly made from recycled materials to help prevent flats and cuts. Double Defense protection enhances puncture resistance with two layers beneath the tread and durable fabric on the sidewalls.
The Addix Green rubber compound combines fair-trade natural rubber and recycled carbon black for eco-friendly performance and good durability. The tire is E-50 rated, designed for e-bike speeds, and constructed to handle higher loads. It has a wire bead and a 67 TPI casing, weighs 920 grams, and features a black color with reflective sidewalls for increased visibility. This clincher tire fits a 700c rim with an ISO width of 50 mm and diameter of 622 mm.
