These folding clincher tires are designed for cross-country mountain biking and feature a 67 TPI carcass for improved suppleness and rolling efficiency. The tires use Schwalbe’s Speed compound, optimized for minimal rolling resistance and maximum speed while providing reliable grip.
The tread pattern combines closely spaced center knobs for low rolling resistance on hardpack trails with more aggressive side knobs for better cornering control. Reinforced tread and sidewalls offer puncture protection, including a reinforced transition area to guard against SnakeBite damage.
Weighing 760 grams each, these tubeless-ready tires are suitable for e-bike use and cover a tire width range of 2.30 to 2.60 inches. Developed in collaboration with Olympic silver medalist Mathias Fluckiger, the Rick XC Pro balances speed, grip, and durability for varied terrain, from smooth singletracks to technical, rocky paths.
