Description
The Schwalbe Tacky Chan Trail Pro is a 27.5 x 2.50 mountain tire designed for downhill and enduro riding. It features a folding, tubeless-ready clincher bead and weighs 1100 grams. Built with Schwalbe’s Trail Pro radial casing and a 67 TPI construction, this tire offers a balance of lightweight performance, puncture protection, and control suited for demanding all-mountain terrain.
The tire uses an ultra-soft compound to provide maximum grip, damping, and control in loose, muddy, or technical conditions, even in cold or wet weather. Its aggressive tread pattern is optimized for high-speed cornering, stable braking, and effective self-cleaning, with long braking edges and an open shoulder area for direct feedback.
The radial carcass design increases contact area by approximately 30% at the same air pressure, providing more grip, comfort, and adaptability to uneven surfaces. Flat protection extends across the tread and sidewall. The tire is also designed for use with e-bikes and has a recommended pressure of 35 PSI. The black tire fits tires with an ISO width of 63 mm and a diameter of 584 mm (27.5″/650b).
