Description
The Sidi Genius 10 Mega Road Shoes for men in black (size 48) are designed for both racing and casual rides. They feature a carbon composite sole made of nylon and injected carbon fiber, providing a lightweight, rigid base that resists humidity. The sole includes a millimetric scale for precise cleat positioning and a replaceable polyurethane heel pad for improved walkability.
The upper uses Microtech material that adapts to the foot’s shape for enhanced comfort. The Soft Instep Closure System includes a wide, anatomically curved strap with a thermo-formed EVA pad to evenly distribute pressure over the instep. This system is adjustable from both sides to position the pad correctly on different instep heights.
Fit is further customized with Sidi’s Tecno-3 System closure, which features non-binding wire material for easy on-the-fly micro-adjustments along the shoe’s length. This closure is also serviceable and replaceable. The shoes are built on Sidi’s Mega Last, offering a wider fit with 4mm more width across the ball of the foot, increased volume, a higher instep, and a wider heel cup to accommodate riders with slightly wider feet.
The shoe’s integrated heel cup is lightweight and reinforced to maintain shape under extended use. The cleat bolt pattern is 3-bolt, and closure is via dial.
