The Spank SPANK 359 Vibrocore FRONT Wheel is a 29-inch, 32-hole wheel designed with a low-profile, radially compliant alloy rim featuring Spank’s Vibrocore technology. This construction provides torsional strength and lateral stiffness, resulting in a smooth and responsive ride. The wheel is hand-built to A-Class standards and uses the SPANK Hex Drive hub, making it suitable for heavy riders and trusted by professional downhill and big mountain riders.
The rim has a 19mm profile height and a 30.5mm inner width, supporting tire sizes from 2.0″ to 2.6″ and allowing for plus-size tires without adverse effects. Radial compliance improves traction and reduces vibration, enhancing comfort and performance. The Vibrocore inner well further reduces harmful vibrations, increasing rim fatigue life and decreasing the impact on suspension and rider.
Bead Bite tubeless hooks improve tubeless tire performance and security, even at lower pressures. The wheel comes tubeless-ready with taped rims and Presta valves. The build includes J-hook, triple-butted spokes in a 3-cross pattern, brass external nipples, and uses the SPANK Hex J-Type hub with a Boost 15×110/20×110 spacing.
This wheel is compatible with various front adapters and service kits for the Hex 32 Boost front hub and is designed for all-mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, and downhill use. It is classified as ASTM 5 and recommended for riders across different body weights and ride styles, with particular suitability for heavy and medium impact riding.
