Description
The Spank SPANK 359 Vibrocore Rear Wheel is a 27.5″ wheel designed with a 32-hole, 148mm Boost hub in Shimano HG configuration. It features the SPANK HEX Drive hub with a 102-tooth, 6-pawl ratchet mechanism providing a quick 3.5 engagement for fast response.
The wheel is built with a low-profile alloy rim that incorporates SPANK’s Vibrocore technology, enhancing torsional strength and lateral stiffness while delivering a smooth and responsive ride. The 19mm profile height combined with wide 30.5mm inner rim width allows for versatile tire compatibility, fitting tires from 2.0″ up to 2.6″ without compromising tire shape. Bead Bite tubeless hooks improve tubeless setup and tire retention, even at lowered pressures.
Hand-built to A-Class standards and utilizing J-hook triple-butted spokes with brass nipples in a 3-cross lacing pattern, this wheel is made for durability and performance. The hub is CNC forged with alloy axle and freehub body, and the wheel comes tubeless taped with a Presta valve installed. It is suitable for all-mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, XC, and e-bike use.
This rear wheel is developed to handle heavy riders and high-impact riding styles, trusted by professional riders on the UCI DH World Cup circuit and big mountain free-riders. Compatible adapters and service kits are available separately for hub maintenance and different axle configurations.
